Col. of Eng. Lines: 24 Hi, Does anyone know how I can set up an X login window on a HP-9000? Under the current configuration, users can select whether or not they want to start-up with X (using x11startup in their profile), however, the initial login must take place from windowless console. Also, there is the awkward feature that the user must type ctrl-shift-reset when he is done. Since everyone is running X, it is inconvenient to restart the server each time. Also, I would appreciate the source for such an xlogin program. Sorry, if this is a totally idiotic question. I tried to find it in the manuals with little success. Thanks. Please e-mail me as I am not a regular reader of this newsgroup. -Kenny (quon@buengc.bu.edu)
