I have bought all books 1-5 in the O'Riley series. My question is this: is there any touchy-feelie X "interface builders"? I envision something with which I can design button boxes, dialogs, etc with some sort of "art" tool (i.e. the mouse), then press a button and get some code kicked out which will implement what I have drawn. Looking at it another way, I know just enough about X programming to know how little I know (whew!). What can make my task easier? I imagine I will be using lots of Xt stuff, combined with many custom widgets which I must write. What stuff is out there to make this easier? Also, I need to communicate with a process (probably through a socket) the whole time my application is running. Any pointers/thoughts? Thanks in advance. Please email directly to me, and I will post a summary. By the way, I did get a copy of the FAQ, and have read it :-). -- ---------------------------------+------------------------------------- Mickey R. Boyd | "Kirk to Enterprise.
