Message-ID: <1991Jun10.182533.26627@arcturus.uucp> Date: 10 Jun 91 18:25:33 GMT Organization: Rockwell International Lines: 29 I am writing an X program which has an application custom display area composed of vectors and text. The user of the program needs to be able to select objects (i.e. small collections of vectors and text). (Once the object is selected he will get additional information on that object in seperate window...) This is not very hard to do, but I am looking for a general purpose way to implement this, and I am hoping somebody has knowledge of an "ftp"-able example written in C. (I have looked around a little bit myself, but came up with nothing) I have heard rumors that PEX will be able to do stuff like this, but I can't wait for R5, and besides I need this program to be able to run on an X11R3 server... Thanks in advance for any help. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wayne D.
