Air Marshall L.T.Suri will be the next chief of Air force. He will
take over the new assignment on the 21st of next month. Air Marshall
Suri was first commissioned in to Indian Air Force in 1952.
He held several important operational and staff appointments since then.

For his distinguished services, Air Marshall Suri was awarded 
the "Param Vishishta seva" medal in 1986. He was also the recepient of
the "Athivishishta seva" and "Vayusena" medals.
