I agree. It would be nice for the target, benchrest and accuracy content to go up in this group, but I don't think it warrants another group. I have basically the same dis-interest in a lot of subjects as the poster who started this thread, but I find that with traffic of only 20-40 articles a day (since this is a moderated group), it is relatively easy to scan through topics and ignore those of no interest. Maybe the original poster's problem is the user-interface of his news-reader.
