Personally, I like the convenience of reading all my gun news on 
rec.guns.  I like target shooting (bullseye pistol) too and would 
like to see more discussion of that activity.  How about a subject
line that looked like this:
Subject: T your subject 
Can one set up one's kill file as an acceptor rather than a
rejector?  If you could put "T" (for target) in front of your 
subjects, I could even put "Z" (for snooze) in front of my 
technical treatises.  8-)
