However I am looking at a 1991 Remington catalogue. The model 700(tm) BDL is a bolt action gun. The copy says "Left-hand actions available in seven popular calibers from 22-250 Remington to 338 Win. Mag." Oh, just found out which 7: 22-250, 243, 270 Win., 7mm Rem Mag., 30-06, 308 Win., and 338 Win. Mag. I guess that answers the question about Remington. Good Luck, Jim Bessette att!corona!jeb
