So, if someone is looking for a gun and wants to try #one, we can usually arrange for the gun and the new shooter to be at a #range at the same time. When I started, I found shooters incredibly #willing to help. And, I still find that when someone shows up with the #latest and greatest toy, they are always willing to let others give it a #try. Now. if there are some folks reading rec.guns that live near you, #hopefully they can point you at a friendly range or club that could help #you out! I think Hal is right. Most shooters I know are very friendly and helpful. Hal has an excellent idea! I'll start the ball rolling. If anyone in the North Seattle Wa area would like a 'trip to the Range' contact me via Email. Range fees at the range I shoot at are $6.00 for as long as you want to shoot, and Monday nights are ladies night, women shoot free. I'll be willing to supply guns, and a limited amount of ammunition. The range is located in South Everett, about 25 minutes North of down town Seattle. I will provide basic safety and target shooting instruction. If you are interested in continuing, there will be professionals available to continue your education. Rick. .uunet!bcstec!iftccu!bressler I have no connection with the range other than as a user.
