  "Min-Chueh Chang, 82, a co-developer of the birth control pill and
researcher in the field of in vitro fertilization, died June 5 at the
Medical Center of Central Massachusetts in Worcester after a heart attack."

  "Dr. Chang did much of his life's work at the Worcester Foundation for
Experimental Biology, where he was a scientist emeritus.  With Dr.
Gregory Pincus, he worked on the effects of progestins on reproduction.
The research led to the development of the oral contraceptive in 1959."
