The general sort of feel I get from the Bible is that when we die, we sleep until the end of time, when we are all resurrected at once. As for re-incarnation, I read a book once, by a chap called John Gribbin, who had all sorts of theories about how time and space curve and bend so much, that quite separate bits of space and time get pulled close together, and people may come into close contact with people in the past or future. This may explain what we interpret as the "symptoms" of reincarnation. Or maybe not. I don't know - it's just an idea. -- KRAKEN...............................alias.......................L McIlhoney Year 2, Dept. of Electronic Engineering E-mail LM89@UK.AC.SOTON.ECS University of Southampton ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family Anatidae on our hands." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
