From the accounts that I have read, this sounds like the supposed description of St. Paul. As for sources on St. Paul's image, the only source I can quote right now is the second century apocryphal book "The Acts of Paul and Theccla": A MAN small of stature, with a bald head and crooked legs, in a good state of body, with eyebrows meeting and a nose somewhat hooked, full of friendliness; for now he appeared like a man, and now he had the face of an angel. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- As to the visage of the Christ? All I say there is that I care not, for His love fealt in my heart is enough. :-) Ian Poulin ipoulin@cccit.arizona.edu -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Personal - I am a undergradute expecting to receive my degree in Anthropology and Classics with emphasis on archaeology and religeous science in about a year. I follow the Roman Catholic doctrinal sect of the Christian religeon and hope to further my education with a degree in Near Eastern Archaeology for either the Middle Bronze Age II period or the time of Paul, which would need another degree in New Testement Theology (14 more years of school, joy!) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
