It resembles lambda cI's DNA binding portion. I want to purify this small protein (9.4kd). The question is that since there is no in vivo functional assay for this, I wonder whether immunoassay could substitute at this moment. Based on the similarity on the primary sequence, POLYCLONAL antibody to cI would be the one to try.
