Lines: 13 I have been investigating various platforms for database applications. In this search I have been using the various vendors TP1 benchmark data to compare the basic hardware systems. I know that TP1 is not directly applicable to the real world, but it is the only way I know to compare systems I/O, CPU etc. under database conditions. Now to the question - is the TP1 benchmark available to users in source form (SQL preferred)? I would like to perform this benchmark on some systems (ie a 80486 at 50mhz with EISA disk(SCSI-2)). Thanks in advance for any help. -- Steven P.
