As an additional followup to my original message, I called the dealer for the ZOOM v.32bis Turbo, and obtained the phone number for Zoom Telephonics, whom I then called to ask if it was v.32 or v.32bis. The person I spoke to assured me that it was indeed v.32bis, that it was a brand new product, and that the list price was $600, which would bear out a street price of $455.00. He also indicated that the modem had a 2 year parts & labor warantee, and that they offered a 30-day return policy, which he indicated that any authorized dealer should support. I'm seriously considering getting one & trying it out; if it truly works with other v.32bis modems, it's certainly a great price/performance combination. -- - Mike Shawaluk (oovvoo@mixcom.com) "It is a good day to live."
