If I remember the original article (or a similar one in another local paper) there was some information about the VP - crusader and how much of her waking time she spends on this activity. There is more to her motivation than the company's interest and a sense of justice. I'm not sure the edited version of the article showed the whole picture very well, even as it was known then.
