Keywords: network, nfs, turbo pascal Message-ID: <1991Jun14.122203.4946@cs.ruu.nl> Date: 14 Jun 91 12:22:03 GMT Organization: Utrecht University, Dept. of Computer Science Lines: 34 I have written a program in Turbo Pasca 6.0 (ReadMail) and I got the following message: =============================================================================== Complaint: Well, not really; more like a bug report. I use an AT hooked up to the Sun here via NFS. READMAIL just doesn't want to access the network drives; thus I have to copy down to the local HD all the files which I want to view. Very annoying. Here's the errors that are generated: Upon getting a valid filename, and attempting to read: error 5 @ 0000:108E (when given a non-existant file, I'm told rather nicely that fact) Upon being told to "print" to a filename on a network drive: error 6 @ 0000:9DC0 =============================================================================== I have no experience with NFS networks, so I have no idea what is wrong here. Can someone please tell me what the problem is and how it can be fixed?
