To those who have responded, thank you for embarrassing me. (no,
that is sincere!  I wanted to know!)

To those who have not yet responded, thank you for your kind
intentions.  You needn't.

To those who wondered what the heck I could possibly have done
wrong:  the answer lies in what happens when you stop the install
to answer 5 user questions, and then return to it -- or in other
words, skipping _one little step_.

My next question will be more intelligent.  Promise.
