I have a minix system and have a uucp link to the Dutch "minixug" system. This runs fine. However, when I try to let my uucico call in to the "htsa" (I'm posting this from htsa.htsa.aha.nl) the htsa uucico seems brain-dead. Everything goes allright: login, password, shere= , inita initb initc. But then my system sends a request to send files ("S file1 file2....") , or it does a hangup/exchange request ("H") and the "htsa" never replies... After I have sent the "S" or "H" message three times, I get a "RJ" message, and then thing start over again. I can't figure out what is going wrong. There is also another system, "wilt" (wilt.htsa.aha.nl) that calls into the "htsa" and that goes perfectly right. My uucp link with minixug is fine also. But my system(==drinkel) -> "htsa" .. no way Jose. I am running Minix 1.5 with some NLMUG extensions, and I used a special "minix" version of uucp, as well as the "1985 usenet BSD uucp". They both have the same problem (with htsa, that is). The "htsa" is running HP-UX 7.0 and HP uucp. If some kind soul could give me a hint what is going on here.. I am going mad. I am so desperate that I even begin to understand the uucp protocol and the G-packet driver, I really did my best (nights without sleep..)
