I am having a problem getting uucp to run on my Minix-386 (32-bit) box. The version I am using is from the ftp_contrib directory of plains known as uucp3-sys.lzh. The problem is that, using uucp to transfer a short file (~140 bytes) from Minix to another (non-minix) machine, the file gets there BUT it has about 1000 bytes, mostly NULLs, tacked on the front :-(. Transfer from the other host to Minix works ok. Has anyone else seen this problem ? The earlier version from plains all.contrib directory did the transfer ok (although there seemed to be other problems). Thanks in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Martin Grundy | email: grundy@rtf.bt.co.uk British Telecom Customer Systems | Hyperion House | phone: +44 273 762102 96-99 Queens Road | fax: +44 273 722038 or Brighton BN1 3XF. | +44 273 762071 (netfax)
