	I have been doing some study in the area of distributed 
	operating systems and came across MACH.  I have heard that
	MACH vs 3.0 will be soon released.  I also heard something 
	about MACH running on SUN sparcstations.  Can anyone verify
	this? My naive question is: if I port MACH onto a SPARCstation,
	what happens with all the software that already exists?  Would
	all the X-windows applications still run?  Sorry if this question
	is a bit basic but I have become confused with this issue.
	I am interested in moving to MACH but hopefully being able to
	keep all my applications.
