Is it possible that MS >didn't test dos 5.0 with windows?!!! Sit down, take a deep breath, and be more specific. Windows works just fine under DOS 5.0 for everyone in our building who has tried it, with one exception: the DOS 5.0 EMM386 prevents Standard mode. However, all my icons came up just fine after the upgrade. What are the symptoms? Did the icons disappear, or do the old icons just not work any more? Did you run out of disk space? Are you talking about non-Windows apps? If so, are you using a PIF and could your COMMAND.COM have moved to a different directory? -- timr@gssc.gss.com Tim N Roberts, CCP Graphic Software Systems Beaverton, OR This is a very long palindrome. .emordnilap gnol yrev a si sihT
