Message-ID: <1991Jun15.031852.23103@athena.mit.edu> Date: 15 Jun 91 03:18:52 GMT Sender: news@athena.mit.edu (News system) Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lines: 11 I got 5.0 (ain't I one in a million? :-) and played around with DOSSHELL and task swapping. However, I don't really want to use the shell, I'd just like to start up two or three programs and switch between them. Can I do that from the command line? ie, type in the equivalent of "emacs &" and then switch between the command line and emacs? Obviously, DOS 5 has the ability to do so, but I don't know how exactly. Thanks! Milan .
