Lines: 13 Several people have mentioned the desire ( and solutions ) to make MESSY DOS feel like UNIX. Most solutions seem to emulate SYS V rather than BSD. Being most comfortable on BSD systems this did not cut it for me. I have been using a combination of the Berkley Utilities and the TCSHELL. BU gives me all the BSD utilities I've grown to depend on. TCSHELL gives me a real C shell for my pc ( history !! !$ [] etc) and up arrow command editing. Best of all the TCSHELL seems to behave a little better in a WIN 3 DOS box. -- * Bruce Trvalik AOA-----------------* * (617)864-0201 * moose@aoa.utc.com * aoa!moose@bbn.com
