This has served us faithfully since then without any modification.... TOO FAITHFULLY! Prior to my return (Spring 1990), it appears that the souces had vanished, not a problem provided things still work! Recently, however, we decided to to a forklift upgrade of the old UNIBUS VAXen to newer technology. Along with this, the host based multiplexors were replaced with ports on a series of TCP/IP based terminal servers connected via MultiNet. This works great for unidirectional printer symbionts for line printers. However, symbionts to drive PostScript printers must be bi-directional. This leaves us with 2 options; find a suitable symbiont somewhere out there that does the trick, or locate sources for the symbiont we are using, and make it talk to MultiNet properly. Any help in either area would be greatly appreciated! -- Tony Brack ][ Usenet: ......!utzoo!yunexus!brack VMS & UNIX Technical Support ][ brack@agrajag.yorku.ca Computing & Communications Services ][ Bitnet: brack@yulibra York University. ][ Voice: (416) 736-2100 x22687 4700 Keele St. || North York, Ontario M3J 1P3 || What's this coming up... ... sure hope it's friendly!
