Well, I just finished compliling RN patchlevel 54 (the latest version),
and when I run it, there's the traditional display of what articles are
available to be read, but when I answer 'y' to read, it says:

Caught a SIGSEGV--.newsrc restored
core dumped

...  Anyone have a clue as to WHY this is happening?  I didn't get ANY 
compiler errors.  It was compiled with the traditional 'CC' (not GCC, because
the latest version is screwed up 1.40).

Any help would be appreciated...
