Description:

This program is an electronic mail handler that works from the desktop,
unlike 'mail' already on the Newcastle info-server.  Will handle mail
folders from UNIX systems and has ability to reconstruct stuff
downloaded in parts from Newcastle info-server ready to be sent to Spark
or whatever.
  You can double-click on a message to send it to Edit, or drag it to
another text processor. Fuller instructions in !Help file.
  Needs MessageTrans 0.04 to be loaded or in System:modules.msgtrans

(It should handle stuff from lancs.pdsoft, but operation cannot be
guaranteed yet.)

To retrieve a file from the archive, send a message to 
info-server@newcastle.ac.uk with the following content:

line-limit 1000
request: sources
topic: archimedes filename
request: end

where filename is replaced by the name of the file that you want.
A filename of 'index' will send you the latest index file.
