The pixels are just larger on the bigger screen. Now that's not the way to get a "sharper" image. But is IS the way to fool the customer into thinking he's getting more for his $$. Even macoids I've heard critizize the LC as the FATBITS display. (For Amigans who wouldn't know, the FEW mac paint programs that actually support magnification call it FATBITS, because the pixels become huge square blocks on the screen).
