Summary: Which is faster/better in general? Keywords: amiga mac difference multitasking Message-ID: <1991Jun13.193759.18269@ccu.umanitoba.ca> Date: 13 Jun 91 19:37:59 GMT Distribution: global Organization: University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada Lines: 14 I was argueing with my friend about multitasking. He conceded that the Amiga multitasking might be better becuase it was built around that concept. He will not admit that Amiga m*tasking might be faster for the same reason. I would like to get the information on what multitasking means as a general term and the basic theory behind the m*tasking in the Amiga. Please no specifics. GENERAL information only. The handeling of graphics update by the custom chips is general info if that is what they do. I have posted a similar article in *introduction with a little bit more detail. If you think this post belongs there please follow up in that group. TAI!!!!!!!!!!! {using his own account to collect ammunition}
