Summary: Is DCTV usable on a 1084S monitor??? Keywords: DCTV, MONITOR, COMPOSITE Message-ID: <1991Jun15.184413.2364@netcom.COM> Date: 15 Jun 91 18:44:13 GMT Organization: Netcom - Online Communication Services UNIX System {408 241-9760 guest} Lines: 14 I am thinking of buying a DCTV unit for my A500, but if I do I'll have to use it with my 1084S... I have heard that the quality on the 1084S was very poor, and that an expensive composite monitor was needed. Is this true, or should I go ahead and get a DCTV? I am also considering a HAM-E (or HAM-E+) and would like to know how the picture quality compares to DCTV. What is the difference in quality between HAM-E and HAM-E+??? Thanks... -- /////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ | asher@netcom.com OR {apple, amdahl, claris}!netcom!asher | | /// | | /// Amiga: The only "game" machine that runs IBeM, Mac, | | \\\/// Apple II, CP/M, Atar-e St, C=64, AND Unix software. | | \XX/ The Computer For The Creative Mind! |
