I am writing a C program (Lattice 5.10) and need to perform an operation similar to Amiga BASIC's "GET" and "PUT" functions and IBM's "getimage()" and "putimage" in which a piece of the screen is clipped and saved in a variable/structure and saved for later use (written to disk or 'put' back on the screen)..... I am using the graphics library (viewport, view, bitmap, rastport, etc) and NO intuition (menus, windows, screens)....I would appreciate it if anyone knew of a function similar to this in C or wrote me a little code to point me in the right direction....Thanks very much.
