Subject: Help Ethernet

We need help installing the ethernet board. The board is physically 
installed but not all of the paths are set.  I'm hooked to a Vax as
my local host.  The problem seems to be with the subgroupmask.  While
$hostname is a valid variable nothing else is.

If any one can shed some light on this, Thank you.
