I got my $$ worth. I am wondering whether or not there are people out there in the net that have their Lucas/Frances running above 20Mhz. I am considering the idea of hacking a MC68030 chip (not the XC preproduction parts) to my Lucas. Since the 030 parts are still relatively expensive, I need convince myself that my Lucas/Frances setup can handle speeds of 25MHz or better. If you have a Lucas/Frances running faster than 20MHz, please let me know - the necessary hack/enhancements/precautions required - the part (74, 74HC, 74LS, 74F, 74AS etc) you used for U8, U9, U11 (I can get Lucas alone to run at 24MHz by using 74LS chips for U8,9,11.) - CPU, DRAM controller etc part clock speed Your comments, suggestions are welcomed (either in .hardware or email) K.
