I remember this being discussed some time ago but I didn't save the postings
as I didn't need the info then :-( ....

A friend recently aquired an A-2000 with a rev 4.2 motherboard and he is seeing
the 'first character typed after booting is being dropped' problem.  As I 
recall, the fix was to remove one of the capacitors at the keyboard
connector (?).  Is this correct?  Can someone please tell me the details?
