  This is the dumbest excuse I've ever heard to justify the
absence of a name server! IP numbers and names are completely
equivalent, but the latter are much more easy to remember for human
brains... Strange administrator you have there :-)

  The IP number for grind.isca.uiowa.edu is 128.255.19.233.
