It was from CD-I developers who have as of yet to make any money on their efforts. CDTV provided them a means to finally make some money on their work. Phillips has been promising CD-I for the last 6 years. SIX YEARS. Almost as long as the Amiga has been on the market. Show me a single CD-I unit I can go down to my store and buy and I'll take your point in stride. Otherwise it's quite obvious you don't know what the bloody hell you're talking about.
