Lines: 20 Nntp-Posting-Host: jacobs.cs.orst.edu HELP!!!!!! My internal 5.25" drive is dying. I believe it is gummed up inside, because the disk drive is running slow, and sometimes it doesn't even run at all (between 250 and 275 ms, instead of 198 - 202 ms!) It's more than 5 years old, and I don't have enough money to pay someone to repair it right now. Is there anything I can do to fix it, like a special disk or something? I don't think I could take it apart and do anything, unless I'm certain what I'm doing. Please help!!!!!! (please e-mail responses, I will be on vacation till July starting this Sat!)
