I need a utility which read and buffers MIDI input and allows 
saving in MIDI standard file format.
Does anyone know of such a program ?
Where can I get such a program ?
Or, if i have to write such a program by myself finally, where can
I find the MIDI standard file definition (book or mailserver).

Any help is appreciated,
