Subject: Missing line of pixels on hp 48sx

Hi,
  My HP 48sx was bought in october of last year, recently I noticed that an
entire line of pixels -- horizontally across the center of display does not
appear to be *working* . Any characters that occupy this section of the screen
appear to have a streak through it. I have not tried changing the batteries as
yet as I am curious to know if others have experienced a similar problem.
Thanks for any info as to the cause/cure.
