Recently, I ran a diagnostic software which prompted to me that my controller reported a diffrent number of sectors per track than the diagnostic had measured. Is this possible ? If Yes, why ? Also, I got a message that some controllers and comput ers which employ RLL encouding "disguised" as MFM do this. What are the RLL & MFM, and how do they work. I will apprieciate any help on this subject. :-} Tad g21lg@cunyvm
