It is a reasonable mouse, and I prefer it over "no-name" mice in the same price range. The biggest shortcomings of this type of mouse that they are invariably serial mice (a problem if you already have a scanner/modem/digitizer/etc.), have a pretty low resolution (200 dpi vs. 400 dpi) which means more moving around, and they aren't as well made. However, they are backed by Logitech, so as long you have a warranty you shouldn't have any major problems. Having only two buttons won't be a big shortcoming, since most environments barely use the second one (hell, Windows doesn't even use the second one).
