HOWEVER, the password can be permanently disabled by removing a jumper on the motherboard. If you keep the case locked, there is no chance a student can enable a password. If the system is later moved to a location where a password is desired, just re-install the jumper. Dell's prices are competitive with Everex's. Dell can be reached at (800) 426-5150.
