The last beta I tried was 409; I had no problems with the 50-odd packages I tried it with. (I didn't try it with the CMS drivers, because I junked that box last year...it's a long story.) In fact, the beta worked too well: the shrink-wrapped copy of DOS5 blew File Command II out of the water even though it worked fine on beta 409. That's the only program I've been running which won't work with DOS5. Despite this, however, users should READ the README files on the DOS diskettes. There are a number of programs which need some TLC until the vendor changes them to work cleanly with DOS5. Examples are PKLITE, 1-2-3 R3, and others. Joe
