First I had cabling problems, but solved those with a cable from IBM ($100!!!!). Now I can't get th e computer to recognize the CD-ROM DRIVE, as the reference disk's setup program just does weird things that don't work, because I still can't boot up. I am fa irly computer literate, but don't have much experience with the PS2 microchanne l architecture and SCSI. I guess I should mention that the reason I am trying to do this is that the CD- ROM was originally bought with a scsi card for the AT Bus. But, As far as I know, a SCSI is a SCSI, so it should work okay with the IBM SCSI card. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
