If this is in the wrong group I apologize. The problem I was using canvas 2.1 in multifinder. When I tried to print I was told that I was out of memory. I let go of some da's and printed. I made some additions and got the out of memory error again. Again closed some da's and it worked. The question Why did this happen? Background facts. Setup: IIsi with 5 megs ram. no cards using built in video. 80 meg hd prior to first attempt I had the cache at 32k, and the following list of da's those that come with the system plus Canvas 2.1 da, dcad calc,disktop,McSink7 expressionist, notepad, parlaink, puzzle, address book. I deleted the cache and adressbook to get the first print the second printing I removed all the others. OOPS. I was running suitcaseii 1.2.10 Any help would be appreciated.... Also is there a program out there that can tell me how my memory is being used while I'm running an application? Thanks in advance.
