I subsequently removed VT Pro and the CommToolbox; however, the CommToolbox startup icon remains. How can I get rid of it? There's nothing visible in the system folder nor in the Control Panel, and I can't find it with DiskTools, either. I'm stumped. The problem is that the Comm. Toolbox gets installed into the System file, so just removing the Communications folder doesn't get rid of it. The installer will, however, remove the Comm. Toolbox for you. You have to click the "Customize" button, then hold down the option key when the next dialog appears. Note that the "Install" button turns into a "Remove" button. -- Steve Baumgarten | "New York... when civilization falls apart, Davis Polk & Wardwell | remember, we were way ahead of you." baumgart@esquire.dpw.com | cmcl2!esquire!baumgart | - David Letterman
