How can you time an event within HC to a resolution greater than a tick. If I could get down to a millisecond it would be great but I would settle for 5 msec. Oh, there is another problem. I have seen a XCMD that once called will begin timing in msec until a mouseDown but this is not the event I want. I want to time until a mouseEnter. I haven't seen the source code to the above XCMD but I assume it is using a system mousedown rather than the HC mousedown. The application? I have a stack for running a Fitt's Law type experiment which is dealing with movement times. Unfortunately it doesn't take 16msec to move between the targets in the experiment hence my need for a finer resolution. As I am not the only requester for this info perhaps posting your replies would be in order. Thanks in advance. _____________________________________________________________________________ James Hale Lincoln School of Health Sciences Computing Unit La Trobe University,Bundoora, AUSTRALIA ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My sinless brother is my guide to peace. | Lesson 351 My sinful brother is my guide to pain. | Workbook P470 And which I choose to see I will behold. | _____________________________________________________________________________
