I wasn't able to send directly to the posters, so here is my reply, in case it is of general interest: The AppleShare PC card is no longer made/supported by Apple. It is now a suite of products from Farallon. From their letter: "Owners of AppleShare PC products can upgrade to PhoneNet Talk 2.02 for $75 or can choose only to register with Farallon to be informed of future upgrades by calling Farallon's upgrade hotline at 1-800-642-2026." The software is now PhoneNETTalk (It will also, of course, work over old LocalTalk wiring). They also have a PhoneNET Card PC for LocalTalk. The PhoneNetTalk software will support Ethernet, token ring, etc. I faxed them a request for more information a week ago and haven't heard anything, so it may be that these upgrades are announced but not actually in the delivery queue. Farallon is at: 2000 Powell Street, Suite 600 Emeryville, CA 94608 (415) 596-9100 FAX: (415) 596-9020 Let me know if you find out anything interesting. -Paul Potts- (paul_potts@um.cc.umich.edu, potts@itl.itd.umich.edu, proteus@moebius.merit.edu) Disclaimer: I don't work for Farallon, but I have in the past been a slave of the evil and powerful wizard, the most high FARALLON STAR CONTROLLER!
