I discovered last evening that ATM will not work under 32-bit mode
in System 7.0 when it has to draw a type-1 font. Adobe more or less
acknowledges this in their forum on Compu$erve where they detail
some problem one can face with ATM 2.0 and System 7.0 under 32-bit.
They have announced an upgrade for later this summer. Switching back
to 24-bit mode lets everything work without a hitch on my IIci.
