It doesn't work properly with VM turned on, I believe. For MacTCP to work properly, you must place the MacTCP file, MacTCP Prep, and Hosts together in the System folder (NOT all the various sub-folders). If you want MacTCP to be available in the control panels folder that you bring up via the Apple menu, make an alias of the MacTCP cdev (control panel), and put it in the Control Panels folder.
