I have a new Canon Optical Disk Drive for sale to the best bidder. The
drive is from a BusinessLand demo cube that I just bought. If the
story that appeared here in comp.sys.next about BusinessLand taking a
long-time to get new ODs from Canon is true, then this drive probably
is a Canon-refurbished drive. (I waited 7 weeks for it to arrive.) At
least everything is clean and dust-free. I have not used it, except to
test that it works.

As a reference point, NeXT offers new drives for $2995 + tax +
shipping, and developers and higher-ed get it for around $2100 + tax +
shipping. Of course, that' s with a warrantee, but this offer should
still be a substantial savings.
